On December 5, 1941, as the German Army abandoned its drive toward Moscow, the Red Army launched a massive counteroffensive that changed the course of the war. The first blow came from the Kalinin Front, commanded by Colonel General Ivan Konev, whose 22nd, 29th, and 31st Armies struck the exhausted German 3rd Panzer Army northwest of Moscow. The next day, General Georgy Zhukov’s Western Front joined the attack along a broad front from Klin to Serpukhov, deploying powerful formations such as the 1st Shock Army, 5th Army, 16th Army, 20th Army, and 10th Army. Simultaneously, to the south, the Bryansk Front under Lieutenant General Yakub Cherevichenko moved against German forces near Tula. For seven days, from December 5 to 12, 1941, the Red Army pressed forward relentlessly in freezing temperatures, striking exhausted and ill-equipped German divisions that had reached their limits . The Red Army advanced steadily, forcing the Wehrmacht back from Moscow’s outskirts and liberating key towns like Klin, Istra, and Kalinin. German losses during that first week of counterattacks were catastrophic: an estimated 40,000 to 50,000 killed and up to 100,000 more wounded or incapacitated by frostbite, totaling roughly 130,000 to 150,000 casualties. Several divisions, including the 6th, 7th, 258th, and 35th Infantry Divisions, were shattered beyond repair. By December 8, Hitler was forced to halt all German offensive operations, acknowledging that the drive on Moscow had failed.

Sikh Soldiers’ Special Message to Field Marshal Asim Munir: “Sikh Soldiers Ready to Join Pakistan Army… 6–10 June is D-Day” Sikh soldiers in the Indian Army, currently under investigation for alleged “insubordination” and facing court martial after refusing to fight against Pakistan, have — through Sikhs For Justice — sent a direct message to Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir. First, Sikh soldiers thanked the Pakistan Army for exposing India’s disinformation campaign regarding the fabricated missile attack on Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. Second, Sikh soldiers declared open readiness to join the Pakistan Army in the ongoing war standoff, and in response to the Modi government’s international campaign aimed at justifying future aggression against Pakistan. Briefing the media on the Sikh soldiers’ message to Field Marshal Munir, SFJ General Counsel stated: “Over 100 Sikh soldiers are ready to defect to the Pakistan Army and fight against India.” “Calling 6–10 June D-Day, the soldiers plan to coincide this action to internationalize India’s attempt to attack Pakistan — a land sacred to Sikhs as the birthplace of Guru Nanak — just as the Indian Army attacked Darbar Sahib.” Pannun added: “Sikh soldiers are following the precedent set in June 1984 by Captain Jasbir Singh and Major Kulwant Singh, who revolted and seized control of Bombay Airport to internationalize the Indian Army’s assault on Darbar Sahib.” On June 10, 1984, in response to Operation Blue Star, over 100 Sikh soldiers from the 9th Battalion of the Sikh Regiment deserted their post near Pune and seized control of Bombay Airport. During the standoff, multiple Sikh soldiers were killed.

🟡 Hezbollah MP Ibrahim Al-Mousawi: “No one can disagree that the official authorities should have a monopoly on arms — this is one of the definitions of a state. But one of the most important functions of any state is to defend and protect its people. This is what the army should do. This is their duty. What happened in Lebanon is that at no point has Lebanon had an army equipped enough, or one given the political decision by its leaders, to defend or protect Lebanon. This happened again this time — the Lebanese authorities issued orders to the Lebanese army to withdraw from its positions. The villagers of southern Lebanon, Christians, Muslims, were begging the army to stay. The head of the army himself said, ‘I have many different scenarios I can use to defend or to protect.’ But the officials ordered the army not to fight back, not to protect, not to defend, simply to withdraw... The normal function has not been performed by the government or the army. … And more importantly — how did the resistance come about? Why did we go to fight the occupation, to try to liberate, to protect, to defend? Was the Lebanese army there and we just pushed them aside? Of course not. There was a vacuum, a negligence, a recklessness, an abandonment of the people. As long as the occupation continues, the resistance will continue. The resistance has every right to fight back. If the Lebanese army were equipped well enough to fight back, it’s not a hobby that we want to do. It’s not that we want to be killed or whatever. There was a job to be done. The army didn’t do it. The state didn’t do it… We are doing it. We should be thanked for what we are doing, and not delegitimized because of this.” jeremy scahill | Ibrahim Al Moussawi

Meanwhile, Russian propaganda: "Could Belarus currently resist the Ukrainian army? I don’t think so. Apart from, perhaps, the armed forces of the United States or China, no army in the world would be able to withstand the Ukrainian army. This is because Ukrainian servicemen have repeatedly taken part in exercises with NATO countries — those who, in a sense, sponsor them, including the Poles, Swedes, Germans, and so on. And, in theory, a small Ukrainian drone unit has repeatedly destroyed any attempts by, for example, the Swedes and others. There were recent exercises with the Swedes: three times during the drills, the Swedes asked for a pause to adjust their tactics, and three times the Ukrainian, so-called “tourists” who had come there, thoroughly defeated the Swedish armoured brigade. What does this suggest? That the Belarusian army, despite having people just like us — and before the war many said even better trained, before the “special military operation” and so on — is not prepared for modern warfare. We’ve always seen footage of Belarusian special forces and similar units. But war has changed so much over the past four years, and Belarus is not a wealthy country. It’s important to understand that to adapt so quickly to rapidly evolving conditions is extremely difficult, and the Belarusian army is simply not ready for modern warfare."

Big breaking 🚨 7 occupying army personnel in custody, one-week POW exchange deadline — BLA Detailed statement: During Operation Herof phase II, Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters arrested seventeen occupying Pakistani army personnel on different fronts. After initial investigation, ten of these personnel were given released after warnings due to their Baloch identity and affiliation with local police and Levies. This decision was taken keeping in mind ground realities, local identity and interest of Baloch people. The remaining seven personnel, associated with regular units of the enemy Pakistani army are in custody of BLA. A formal hearing was held against them in Baloch National Court. During this court proceeding, they were charged with war crimes, acts against civilian populations, aiding and abetting enforced disappearances and practical participation in committing Baloch genocide. During the court proceedings, accused were given an opportunity to explain themselves, evidence was presented and confessional statements were recorded. After completing all stages, court found them guilty of the charges. However, Command Council of Baloch Liberation Army has decided to give Pakistan a seven-day grace deadline in accordance with international norms of war and prevailing regulations regarding exchange of prisoners. During this period, if occupying state formally expresses willingness to exchange prisoners of war, these seven military personnel can be exchanged for release of Baloch prisoners of war. It is noteworthy Baloch Liberation Army had earlier offered occupying army on various occasions to exchange prisoners of war, but instead of making serious progress, Pakistani army ignored lives of its personnel and did not proceed with the exchange process. Once again, it is made clear through this announcement that release of the seven arrested military personnel is conditional on release of Baloch prisoners of war. If practical and formal progress is not made by occupying state within one week, death sentence given to them will be executed as per orders of Baloch National Court. Baloch Liberation Army believes that even in war situations, principles, rules and mutual responsibilities exist. Now the decision rests with occupying Pakistani state whether it takes serious steps to protect lives of its personnel or prefers death of its rented personnel by adopting silence and indifference as usual. Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army Date: 14 Feb 2026

Elena Rybakina says it was painful for her to even walk after her injury in Cincinnati, but she’s happy with the healing progress, ‘Being here today in this situation is really an amazing improvement’ “I didn’t play for an exact week. We consulted with different doctors. I’ve been doing the recovery. I slowly started to go on the court. A lot of gym. It wasn’t easy because we didn’t know exactly how the foot is going to react. It was very painful for me to go and serve in that match in Cincinnati… Because I wanted to try once more. For a couple days it was painful to even walk. We managed to do everything possible for it to get better. I’m glad how the process is going for now.” “I don’t have any questions. I’m quite confident with the decision we’re making each day. How to practice, what to do. What can happen worst case scenario. All these things I feel quite confident. It’s just to also start feeling better on the court, moving wise.. Since I didn’t play for the whole week. I feel like just a few more days and I should be very fine.” “I didn’t know how it’s gonna be going to be honest. In the moment it happened it was very painful. As I said I couldn’t even walk the next few days without pain. I was upset. No one knew how it’s gonna go. We were just waiting day by day. Being here today in this situation is really an amazing improvement. No one expected. We’ll see what’s gonna happen in the next few days. For now it’s been well. I always want to go on court when I’m 100% sure. It’s the last Slam of the year. I think everyone would want to try… to try and compete.” (via US Open Press)

John Spencer, Richard Kemp, and Andrew Fox are experts in the field of urban warfare, and I detail their findings in my new book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law. In urban warfare, the average militant-to-civilian casualty ratio is about 1 to 9, meaning one militant killed for every nine civilians killed. That's not because every war that's ever been fought is a genocide. It's because war is horrible and urban warfare in particular is horrible. That's why Israel would much prefer to fight Hamas out in the open. It's Hamas who chooses to fight in Gaza underneath its civilian population precisely to increase—not decrease—the number of civilian casualties. In the American war in Iraq and Afghanistan, we and our allies set the gold standard. We had a militant-to-civilian kill ratio of about one to four-and-a-half, maybe one to five, and many experts believed no army would ever be able to meet that standard again. In much more difficult and complicated circumstances, Israel, even if you believe Hamas's bogus numbers—which you should not believe for all the reasons I lay out in the book—but even if you took Hamas at completely face value and you believed all of their numbers, Israel has a militant to civilian kill ratio of about one to one-and-a-half in Gaza. If Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, then the Americans committed genocide in Iraq and Afghanistan, then the Americans and the allies committed genocide in Germany and Japan, and literally every war that has ever been fought in human history has been a genocide. That's not what genocide means. We should reserve the label for the crime of all crimes, because otherwise the consequences will be dire.

DUMB TRUMP DIDN'T EVEN REALISE .Narendra Modi JI IS 10 STEPS AHEAD OF HIM! Trump's pressure on EU to impose 100% Tariffs on Bharat ISN'T GOING TO WORK! Bharat's Exports to EU will remain INTACT by rerouting. MODI'S MASTERSTROKE: BHARAT- EFTA FTA🔥Tariff Shield Against Trump! In a shrewd geopolitical maneuver, Modi Sarkar has orchestrated a masterstroke with the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) signed with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA)—comprising Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland—in March 2024, which took effect on October 1, 2025. Amid escalating U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff blitz—including a 50% levy on Bharatiya imports and his September 2025 push for the EU to impose up to 100% duties on Bharatiya goods over Russian oil purchases—this deal fortifies Bharatiya export fortress by granting duty-free access to 99% of EFTA markets for key sectors like textiles, pharmaceuticals, and engineering goods. As non-EU nations deeply embedded in the European Economic Area (EEA) and bilateral pacts with the EU, the EFTA quartet serves as a seamless conduit, enabling Bharatiya exporters to route goods through their low-tariff hubs for re-export into the broader European single market, sidestepping potential EU barriers without violating rules of origin. This not only sustains Bharat's $100+ billion annual EU trade flow but also attracts a pledged $100 billion in EFTA investments over 15 years, fueling domestic manufacturing and job creation—turning Trump's protectionist pressure into an opportunity for diversified, resilient supply chains that bolster Bharat's global trade sovereignty. Trump can keep licking his ego, Bharat will keep scaling high.
