Your bodyweight is still weight though😂 Heavier guys are literally curling/pulling more resistance than lighter guys. Progressive overload doesn’t care if it’s dumbbells or your own body.

In my opinion, the kind of training gymnasts do is some of the best for building your biceps. One thing all these exercises have in common is that if your core and scapular stability aren’t solid, you’re more likely to overload your biceps and end up with shoulder pain. That’s why I think it’s important to spend time on the basics, like: Scapular pull ups Planks Build a strong foundation first, and everything else gets better.
