This is some really terrible advice.

Use a rag to clean off the excess oil from the chain. If you don’t, that oil will trap dirt which will degrade your chain rapidly.

What a load of bollox. Especially truing a wheel by tightening one spoke individually - sure fire way to make it snap under load. And bottom bracket bearings need grease, not oil. And wtf was all that tape around a tyre?

Put the zip tie so that it rubs on the spokes and makes an engine sound and that makes your bike go faster
