Today, I attended janasabhas at Amdanga and Haripal, and led a padyatra covering Shibpur and Howrah Dakshin in support of our Maa-Mati-Manush candidates. The resounding uludhwani of our mothers and sisters, and the thunderous applause of our brothers, charged the air with an energy and emotion that words can barely capture. It is on the strength of this love, and with these blessings, that we press forward in our mission for Bengal's development. The zamindars sitting in Delhi have long treated Bengal as an afterthought, a state to be exploited during elections and ignored thereafter. The BJP makes sweeping promises to Bengal every five years, yet when the time comes to deliver, they withhold funds that rightfully belong to this state and its people. This is a deliberate betrayal. The people of Bengal have seen through it, and they will no longer accept it. Outsiders cannot understand Bengal, its soil, its soul, its centuries of culture and resistance. They come here with the politics of division; we answer with the politics of development. Trinamool Congress has stood by the people of Bengal through every storm, and we will continue to do so. This election is Bengal's moment to speak. To protect our heritage, our rights, and our dignity, I urge every community, every faith, every language to vote for Peerzada Kasem Siddiqui from Amdanga, Dr. Karabi Manna from Haripal, Dr. Rana Chatterjee from Shibpur, Nandita Choudhary from Howrah Dakshin, and joraphool candidates across Bengal. The time has come to democratically, decisively, and permanently bid farewell to the BJP from Bengal.

Canada's first orbital-class rocket engine is now being manufactured! Our patent pending Hadfield-150 engine is the largest and most powerful rocket engine ever built in Canada, and the first known Canadian orbital-class engine to make it to this stage. The Hadfield-150 builds on everything we learned after years of painstakingly designing, manufacturing, and testing the Hadfield-10 series, our first regeneratively cooled and additively manufactured liquid rocket engine. Every engine test, both successful and unsuccessful on our Darkhorse test stand at Area 66, retired risk that's now carried straight into Hadfield-150 and sovereign orbital launch for Canada. A few details about the Hadfield-150 engine series: ✅ Designed to power Tundra and Tundra+, our light and medium-lift launch vehicles, and built to scale to Tempest, our larger reusable medium lift vehicle ✅ Manufactured entirely in-house, from design to print to test, for true sovereign launch capability ✅ Produced at Rocket Factory 1, on our expanding fleet of metal additive manufacturing systems at the AMA Lab, including the largest known metal 3D printer in Canada ✅ Designed for reusability and medium-lift scale from the outset, and built to significantly cut the time, infrastructure, manufacturing and cost iterative engine testing usually requires, with room to scale to even larger engines by leveraging the same design ✅ Capable of engine-out functionality, so losing one on an early flight doesn't have to mean losing the mission ✅ Optimized for Canada's Launch the North initiative, to deliver sovereign operational capability in a time and cost efficient manner Initial testing starts later this year at our new Blackhawk orbital engine test cell at Area 66, our private test range in Ontario. Stacked, integrated vehicle testing comes later at the Atlantic Spaceport Complex, our spaceport in Newfoundland and Labrador. Stay tuned for some exciting and fiery milestones ahead! 🚀🇨🇦 National Defence Defence Research and Development Canada Canadian Space Agency Transport Canada NGen Canada

I'm excited to announce we have achieved our Tier 1 mission success criteria and have begun gathering a tremendous amount of data on how this brand new spacecraft performs. On March 30th, 13:17:08Z, the Gravitas spacecraft separated from the SpaceX Transporter-16 stack to begin its mission as one of the highest power free-flying satellites ever launched. Immediately after separation, the spacecraft autonomously: - Executed detumbling maneuvers - Established two-way communications with the ground (on our very first ground station pass) - Deployed its 20kW solar arrays - Slewed to a safe and stable attitude to await further ground commands These actions alone are a testament to the incredible work of our in-house engineering, software, and GNC teams to build a robust spacecraft. Since then, our operations team completed all initial system activations and checkouts, confirming the vehicle is in a power positive and thermally stable state with no major anomalies observed at this time. We completed this phase of the mission ahead of schedule. Next up we will be powering up and downlinking data for all payloads aboard the Gravitas spacecraft in support of our customers and partners while continuing to put the spacecraft through its paces. As we noted ahead of launch: The goal of this mission is to experiment and push our systems to the limit to inform future missions. I look forward to sharing more on our successes and challenges as the mission proceeds. Video of our satellite below; link to full T-16 webcast:
