I don’t think this was a “knee jerk” decision. He happened to have a live stream “channel” ready to go the same day he ousted them? More like an attempt to make money off access. Poorly executed but you don’t create a fully usable platform in hours.

When the “established media” unfailingly reported positively on his administration, Biden made it policy that only they could have “hard pass” access and that the independent media (which tended to report less favorably) must pursue a “separate but equal” process to be considered for what was granted automatically to others. That IS what Trump did. It’s not “whataboutism”. It’s saying “we don’t believe in you outrage if you weren’t outraged when it was ‘your guy’ ”. Both were constitutionally questionable. Condemn both.
