Karnataka has a significant and strategic contribution to India’s defence production, making it a strong contender for the establishment of two dedicated Defence Industrial Corridors—one each in North and South Karnataka. The state is responsible for 67% of the country’s defence aircraft and helicopter manufacturing and holds a 25% share in the national aircraft and spacecraft industry. South Karnataka has emerged as India’s aerospace innovation hub, while North Karnataka is rapidly developing into a prominent defence manufacturing zone. These regional strengths offer a balanced and scalable platform for the growth of India’s defence ecosystem. Karnataka has already laid a strong foundation to support large-scale defence and aerospace industries. The Belagavi Aerospace Special Economic Zone, India’s first precision manufacturing SEZ, and the Hi-Tech Aerospace & Defence Park in Devanahalli stand as critical infrastructure assets that reflect the state’s future-readiness. These facilities, combined with a skilled talent pool, robust policy framework, and world-class R&D capabilities, make Karnataka uniquely positioned to expand its role in national defence production. The state’s industrial growth story is further validated by the success of Invest Karnataka 2025, which secured investment commitments worth ₹10.27 lakh crore, with over 60% of manufacturing-related investments already realised. Karnataka is not just prepared—it is leading. With a proven track record and comprehensive ecosystem in place, Karnataka now seeks the Government of India’s support to scale these efforts into a national-level defence corridor, reinforcing India’s pursuit of self-reliance and global leadership in defence manufacturing. #Aerospaceanddefence #Karnataka #Belagavi #Bengaluru

In the Karnataka Assembly, I spoke on the persistent neglect of North Karnataka, a region that has been ignored despite 75 years of Karnataka’s formation. Our state was born from the struggles of our people, fighting against the British and the then Congress government in the Centre, with Dharwad as the hub of the unification movement. We united with the hope of development, yet today, North Karnataka is treated like it isn’t part of Karnataka. The Nanjundappa Committee report remains a testament to this inequality. In agriculture, education, healthcare, tourism, and more, the focus has been on South Karnataka, leaving North Karnataka far behind. District-wise income data shows that the best-performing districts are all in the south, while the worst-performing ones are in the north. This disparity is driven by the concentration of private investment and industries like IT, BT, and automobile sectors in Bengaluru and its surroundings, as well as the presence of PSUs like HAL and BHEL in the south. Even in government representation, the inequality is stark—only 12% of gazetted officers and 8% of non-gazetted officers hail from North Karnataka. To address this, the government must take proactive steps: 1️⃣ Develop infrastructure to attract private investment in North Karnataka. 2️⃣ Provide higher incentives for industries to move northward compared to South Karnataka. 3️⃣ Plan the second Bengaluru airport near Tumkur-Shira to facilitate industrial growth in the region Bengaluru is already saturated, forcing people from North Karnataka to migrate for work. Instead, we must create opportunities in their own region for holistic growth. It’s time for the government to correct this imbalance and ensure equitable development for all regions of Karnataka. #KalyanaKarnataka #KarnatakaAssembly #NorthKarnatakaNeglect #BalancedDevelopment

A long-standing coastal erosion problem in the Uppada region of the Pithapuram constituency is set to get a permanent solution. The Central Government through National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is actively considering a proposal to develop coastal protection structures at Uppada with an estimated cost of ₹323 crore, initiated by the NDA government. In the past five years alone, an average of 1.23 meters of coastline has been eroding annually, resulting in a total loss of nearly 12 meters — severely impacting nearby villages, especially the homes of fishermen. Staying true to the NDA alliance’s election promise, we are ready to commence construction as soon as the necessary approvals are granted. The state government headed by Hon’ble Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu Garu has submitted proposals for the Ministry of Home Affairs through NDMA and we sincerely hope that our Union Government led by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi ji will consider our proposal and Hon’ble Home Minister Sri Amit Shah ji will surely acknowledge the aspirations of the people of the Kakinada and we look forward for the best to happen bringing long-awaited relief to the affected communities., since Union Government is always being generous to our Andhra Pradesh in all aspects . Villa, 50-acre land bank, luxury flats: Telangana DSP booked in DA case ACB raids uncover properties across Telangana, Karnataka; cash, 2 kg gold seized A Telangana deputy superintendent of police allegedly amassed a portfolio of villas, luxury apartments, commercial properties, more than 50 acres of land, cash, gold and investments far beyond his known sources of income, prompting the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to register a disproportionate assets case and conduct searches at 16 locations on Thursday. The ACB booked Sankireddy Bheem Reddy, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Police Computer Services (PCS), Hyderabad, under Sections 13(1)(b) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, as amended in 2018, alleging that he acquired assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by indulging in corrupt practices and dubious means during his service. Searches were carried out at his residence and 15 other premises linked to his relatives, friends, alleged benamidars and associates. Among the assets traced were a villa at Vessella Meadows in Ibrahimbagh, a G+2 house with a penthouse and another flat in Telecom Nagar, a flat at Kranti Ceon Apartments in Gachibowli, two flats in Tellapur, a share in a G+5 commercial complex on Lancohills Road in Manikonda, a 3,000 sq ft commercial space near Manikonda Marrichettu Junction and several open plots in Nagole, Patancheru, Pragathi Resorts and Mominpet. The ACB also found documents relating to agricultural land measuring 3.5 acres at Zaheerabad in Sangareddy district, six acres and another 38 acres in Karnataka, one acre at Devanahalli near Bengaluru, two acres at Mominpet in Vikarabad district and 4.20 acres at Muchintala village in CC Kunta. Investigators also identified an investment of ₹75 lakh in M/s Sri Raghavendra Rock Sand Minerals. During the searches, officials recovered about ₹3.6 lakh in cash from the officer’s residence and another ₹40 lakh from the house of an alleged benamidar. They also found gold ornaments weighing about two kilograms, silver articles weighing about 20 kilograms and bank balances of approximately ₹19.91 lakh. The ACB said the market value of the immovable properties could be many times higher than their registered value. Officials also found 23 foreign liquor bottles at the officer’s residence and informed the Excise department for further action. Verification of additional assets is under way, and the investigation is continuing. #telangana #Hyderabad #corruption

I WILL CONTEST FROM TELANGANA!! Andhra Deputy CM and Janasena party president, actor, Pawan Kalyan gives a very high octane speech from his residence in Hyderabad declaring his intentions for the upcoming elections. While speaking very animatedly he says he will question about every problem in Telangana, contest in Telangana and tour all of Telangana. It is nice to see his love for Telangana and its problems. I guess all the problems in Andhra Pradesh are solved already, including the new capital construction. Also looks like he is very respectfully paving way for Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu’s son and minister Nara Lokesh to become the CM of Andhra Pradesh by stepping aside. As Chandra Babu Naidu crossed 76 years age, there is a clamouring demand for the succession process to start both from his community & party loyalists. Looks like Pawan Kalyan has finally realised that he will have to continue playing second fiddle to Nara Lokesh & TDP and hence decided to take a plunge into Telangana politics instead. This could also mean that through Jana Sena, BJP will try to establish themselves here. But again within BJP, no one is willing to even let Pawan Kalyan within an arm’s reach. But highly likely he will be used as a pawn by TDP to distract from the failures of their erstwhile party member and even now hardcore loylaist who calls himself a proud TDP-college student. If he is trying to pull a Tamil Nadu CM Vijay kind of a stunt (must be some ill-advice or misdirection from his team), Pawan Kalyan should know that Telangana is not like Tamil Nadu. People here gave up their lives and fought for decades for the pride of their land, their culture, their identity and their own rule. I hope these antics don’t cost Pawan Kalyan and Jana Sena dearly. It will be a neither here nor there situation.

Indian Express investigation has raised serious questions around land deals linked to Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav’s family. • According to the report, after Mohan Yadav became CM, his family members and family linked real estate firms allegedly bought at least 137 plots in Ujjain • These plots reportedly add up to around 168 acres, with an estimated value of about ₹45 crore • The report does not say that CM Mohan Yadav personally bought all this land • The purchases are reportedly linked to his wife, son, daughter in law, brothers, sister, nephew, cousins and family linked companies • The issue is important because Ujjain is currently seeing a major infrastructure push • New roads, highways, Simhastha 2028 preparations and land use changes can increase the value of land in prime areas • Indian Express says around 111 acres out of these 168 acres are located near new road and highway projects • State officials have said it is not correct to link extended family business deals with the Chief Minister • The family side has also reportedly said that they have been in the real estate business for years • So this is not a proven corruption case at this stage • But it raises serious questions of conflict of interest, timing, transparency and public office propriety. The simple question is this: When a government is planning the future development of a city, and the ruling family’s land deals are happening in the same city’s prime growth zones, should the public get full transparency or not?

🚨 Private solar companies are being given grant money in New York State, they’re then pressuring farmers to sell their land Also Investment firms are offering $40k a month to farmers with hundreds of acres to to sell their land “My neighbors came to my farm last week and told me something absolutely terrifying. He owns over 100 acres of land right across the street from my farm. — We were just talking about different trends that we're noticing in the area and what's happening to farms and all of these different investment firms that are coming out of nowhere to buy up this farmland that is for sale right under our noses and no one even knows it's happening. He told me the other other day for his 100 acres behind me. He has been approached by and pressured by solar companies to sell his land to them. Multiple times they have come and tried to get him to sell this land. He said they lure you in by the promise of paying you anywhere from $30 to 40k a year as a payoff for selling this property to them. This guy's in his 70s. He said it's obviously appealing to other older folks who are just looking to finally get away from farming and retire with a nice 40k a year until they die. The problem is that then 100 hundred acres of arable, beautiful, upstate New York fertile land will turn into a dystopian solar farm that will bring down the property values of everybody in this area, be a huge eyesore. It'll kill the idyllicness of in every direction, not to mention the insane battery systems and overhead wires that have to be set up at these solar farms if any of you have ever gone near them. I thanked him for not selling out to these solar companies. He said he never plans to because that would change everything at all of the farms surrounding this 100 acres of land. It just makes me think about how many other people are being pressured by these companies as we speak to sell out. Doesn't help. In New York State that grant money has been given to these solar companies. There's pressure from the state for them to turn as much of our land into solar fields and farms as possible, and it's horrifying.”
