BAD 1 was some real quality shit

A homage to director Nicolas Roeg. The lyrics refer to some of his films: Performance, Walkabout, Don't Look Now, Insignificance, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Eureka etc. The samples of dialogue are taken from the film Performance - not as is sometimes believed, from Get Carter.

Brilliant album by a brilliant band.

Absolute classic song.

One of those songs where the words just sound cool.

First album was good, but the follow up No. 10 Upping St. was EPIC. Jones wrote and produced it with Joe Strummer.

Thanks for posting, bloody brilliant. Saw them (by accident) at the Astoria (London) c1987 - one of my favourite gigs
