Balochistan was forcibly annexed by Pakistan in 1948. The British government withdrew from its treaty commitments, creating the conditions that enabled Pakistan’s control over Balochistan. Balochistan has a distinct historical and political identity that predates Pakistan. Regional powers should recognise Balochistan’s historical ties and its unresolved political status.

Pakistan's appointed Chief Minister in Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, also acknowledged that the law and order situation is deteriorating and that the government's control is weak. According to the people of the Republic of Balochistan, Pakistan's writ no longer exists across large parts of the country. Balochistan is 44% of Pakistan’s land. Its gas runs Pakistan’s kitchens. Its gold fills Pakistan’s pockets. Its port carries China’s billions. And its people? Poorest in the country. Now they declared independence and Pakistan’s first move was cutting their internet. Tells you everything.

Hingol National Park, Balochistan Province, Pakistan. Known as the "Cappadocia of Pakistan" due to the similarity in some of its rock formations. But I see the remains of a great Melted Megalithic Wall.🧐
