The day after I buried my mom, I went to FYE to buy some movies to cope. There was a sale on the Police Academy. I’m standing in line and suddenly I hear this booming voice “I see you like Police Academy, Bubba Smith was my daddy.” I turned around and there was Shaq! I was stunned. We chat for a while. I got his autograph. I rushed to my car to call my mom, who loves Shaq. Then I realized that she was gone. I broke down. But I also knew that Shaq, a person who I never known, was a sign from my mom letting me know she is at peace and I will be okay.
