The coverage of the lightning detection network is global. However, there are still a few limitations. Marginal coverage is over the Pacific Ocean, the eastern part of the Indian Ocean, and the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean.

Thank you ๐ I think the color needs to be changed, it is not clear in white. I also wish to add a special icon for lightning, meaning it is not required with the clouds layer. It can be with a blank map.
Not a fan of the new data provider. Tracked storms that blew through Phoenix a couple weeks ago, with LightningMaps side-by-side with Nowcast. Aside from missing the thunder rings, Nowcast didn't show as many strikes as LM, even missing ones I could see and hear from the window.
