Our journey—my daughter Rafif, my brother Mahmoud, and I—was simply to obtain our most basic right: treatment and medicine for Rafif’s eye, which the doctor prescribed. We walked under a sky filled with drones, fear surrounding us from every direction. Yet we still hold on to life… we only want to receive treatment so we can continue.
