ALL of these were already targets. Russia propaganda is claiming they are just now becoming targets to induce fear by making media write their stories that Moscow was somehow passive before and are now being forced to target new areas because of recent wrong doing by the West.

They do this since the start of the Cold War. Look at this map of Netherlands with US military airfield Soesterberg and other details.

Norway is ready, the country is packed with advanced air defence on important locations. And now they'll help Ukraine as well.

🙄……Whom God wants to destroy, He first makes 「crazy」⚡️☝🏻#🗽🌐

What a bunch of BS. Ukraine by itself has crippled Pootin's Russia. Those missiles will be blown up in Russia over Pootin's head.

While America is risking blood and treasure to defend Europe. The actual Europe in Europe. The EU / European President Ursula is over in North America making ridiculous claims Greenland is in Europe, basically stabbing America in the back over #Greenland. Crazy.

The core content of this report is factually accurate, but it blends official reporting with political analysis. Factual Core (Verified) * The Threat: The Russian Foreign Ministry (including spokesperson Maria Zakharova) has officially stated that sites hosting US missile systems in Norway, along with their command and control centers, would be considered targets for Russian armed forces in the event of an armed conflict. * The Weapon Systems: Moscow specifically pointed to ground-based US systems equipped with Mk 41 vertical launching systems. Russia argues these can launch Tomahawk cruise missiles, capable of striking targets deep inside the European part of Russia, including Moscow. * Reuters as a Source: Reuters and other international media outlets reported consistently on this official statement from Moscow. Context & Assessment * Military Background: Norway is modernizing and reinforcing its northern defenses (including the Finnmark Brigade and additional artillery units), which Moscow has repeatedly denounced as provocative. * Commentary in the Post: The third paragraph ("Moscow’s threat reflects a broader Russian effort...") is not neutral news reporting, but rather the author’s geopolitical analysis and commentary regarding NATO's deterrence posture. The reports regarding Russian threats against US installations in Norway are therefore authentic and accurate.

what does "Russia is openly identifying military facilities in Norway that it could target in a future conflict" mean?

Russia is not threatening anyone in Europe but[t] European NATO forces are threatening [thread 'n' ing tread 'n' ing dread 'n' ing frightening flight 'n' in' flit 'n' inn frit 'n' ing fret en ing threat en ing] Russia by[e]/buy massing weapons and troops all around its borders/boarders [and lodgers ledgers sledge'rs sludge ere's s'led ge's slid gees skid geese ski'd goose skied goosed s'kid gees[e] s'kit Jeez[US]]

I do not see Russia's interest in attacking Europe, whereas Europe's interest in attacking Russia—to seize its natural resources alongside a regime change coordinated with anti-Putin oligarchs—is very clear to me. Let's stop the bullshit of a miliatry attack from Russia.

@mizugameGOod ふむ!!

the trump effect

Russia will die.

Bruxelles è più a sud

If Russia is being defeated by Ukraine... How dare the Russians pick on NATO? Key points: 1. Explain the loss of the war to the Russians. NATO attacked us! 2. We'll say we won, but it will be contingent on showing territory, Auantams!

Moscow's bluster aims to distract from its own military build-up and reassure its loyalists that Russia remains a force to be reckoned with.

Russia’s statement is best explained as coercive signaling plus information operations, not as evidence that a temporary U.S. exercise launcher has produced a new, standing targeting requirement. The most consistent reading is that Moscow is trying to raise the political cost of future allied deployments in Norway while locking in a public narrative that NATO, not Russia, closed the door on strategic-stability talks.

Fk putinhitler!!!

Bottom line, Russia is probing and countering NATO because he sees the US has pulled back and now it “seems” possible and feasible to test how far he can move forward into NATO (softly and without a major attack) due to European weaknesses. He is riding the default line between NATO and Russia strategically without going full-fledged into war with NATO. His activity is clearly RIF (reconnaissance in force). It is up to NATO how far he is allowed to probe Europe. It is the concept of a frog boiling slowly in water. Slow and sure, no one says it is enough and holds him accountable for turning up the heat against Europe and NATO.

Norway maintains around 20,000 emergency shelters with capacity for 2.5 million people, many from the Cold War era and suited for nuclear threats. Scotland has feck all ! Defence spending has not been spent on defence ?

Any idiot can put a target on something. The smart one never gets there in the first place.

Moscú, debe decidir que atacar. Porque ese será el último de Rusia en la era moderna.

Is Oslo testing Moscow's "red lines" for real?)))

El hijo de Putin ruso no puede con un pobre pais como Ucrania y va a atacar a la OTAN? 😂😂😂

Why war ❗️

Ob wir dann die Atominen vor Murmansk scharf schalten.

Fah

All that remains is to defeat the invading Russian empire that constantly threatens Europe.

Oh, and Moscow isn’t a target? They can say whatever they want. I’m sure there are many targets in Russia that are already identified.

🙈💩

You and what army

Another bullshit 🫤
