I am deeply pained and strongly condemn the authorities decision to once again deny the Muslims of Kashmir the basic right to offer Eid prayers at Eidgah and Jama Masjid which have been closed down and I have been detained at home Even at the peak of miltancy during 1990’s Eid prayers were offered at Eidgah , so now when huge claims of “normalcy “ are made everyday by the authorities , why are Muslims being kept away from their religious places and practices? What is the agenda ? Is the collective identify of Kashmiri Muslims a threat to the rulers ? Eidgah and Jama Masjid belong to the people. Barring them from these sacred spaces even on Eid reflects an oppressive and authoritarian approach that prevails in Kashmir today.

VIDEO: A Fulani man identified as Usman has made a disturbing threat against communities around Kwanji, extending to Babanna in Borgu and Agwara LGAs of Niger State, as well as border communities in Kebbi State. He reportedly called on Fulani residents to leave the area, while saying they would no longer seek help from Miyetti Allah or take their grievances to court. Given the existing tensions and security challenges in the area, this is not something authorities should ignore. The Niger and Kebbi State Governments, as well as security agencies, need to take this seriously, investigate the threat and act quickly to prevent it from turning into violence.

RIP MATUNGA WADALA 🙏 under our current administration. Outside Don Bosco high school Matunga, on one side there is an open encroachment by Alatamash Khan (mobile number also provided on his banner). Imagine the callousness of our authorities- His cart is blocking a zebra crossing outside a school! Can you beat that? How do kids cross the road? Is there any concern for their safety? I don’t think so. What matters is the hawkers and encroachers. On the other side, opposite Classic restaurant 3 or 4 cars are permanently parked and being worked on by a mechanic. It’s a roadside garage. Opposite Wellingkar college at Matunga there is a hawker grilling kababs on an open flame encroaching the footpath🫡 While even the smallest legitimate restaurant pays for every permit and permission imaginable. MyBMC Fire Department And whole of erstwhile scenic RA Kidwai road near Amulakh school / SIWS college is now encroached and occupied and turned into motor repair, scrap shops and madrassas. Ironically this is also EXACTLY opposite Matunga Police Beat Chowky no 4 🫡 And what is the state of salaried middle class, law abiding, tax paying residents of Matunga Wadala? So just to recap: right before Thanksgiving, Candace Owens claims there is a grand assassination plot against her, allegedly ordered by the Macrons and some mysterious legion of assassins. She says she informed the White House and someone in the federal government. But today she admits on her podcast that she just texted someone she knows at the FBI and never went through any official channels, not even filing a basic police report?????? At least that?!?! In other words, the supposed international assassination plot is apparently being handled with the same urgency as a casual text message. If it were truly that serious, would not you use official channels? It is fascinating how a world-ending threat turns into a casual DM.
