Marida has been through a lot, she acts cold because she hardly knows how she's supposed to act. She can barely tell what she truly likes because she has been brainwashed so many times in her life. Not only that, but we see what she went through, and it was literal hell for a woman. The fact that, even after all that, she remains a kind person shows how pure of heart she is.. that's the real her. Yet people in this cruel universe keep trying to mess with her. So, it made me happy to see her be herself around Banana, they seem like brother and sister. A family.
