For those of you asking about turn sizing here, here are a few different ways you can go about turn sizing. Theoretically, we want to go bigger than geometric sizing here on turn and then less on the river because of how wet the board is with the double draws. Whereas on a board like 9323 Rainbow we can go true geo sizing But now that also means we need to split bet sizes which may make us easier to read or the strategy harder to implement, and we have to ask ourselves is the EV difference worth it or can we get exploited etc, and in those case I felt the answer was no. Sometimes, I'll be willing to split sizing in that spot depending on my opponent or just how I think they will perceive my range at this given moment. Going half pot is a nice simplification here that isn't costing us much EV and it allows us to bet some thinner value hands here as well that we can check back on the river. That said if you want to take our hand and bet bigger on turn here there's def nothing wrong with that and it would be the more "theoretically approved" play when we have the nuts.

Overbet turn would be better I think

the SPR (stack to pot ratio) is only 2.2 on the turn so you don't really need any overbets in this already bloated pot that's going to be able to get all the chips in by river quite easily. Betting 45-70% of pot essentially accomplished the same thing. If you overbet your putting in way too much with your bluffs when you could just accomplish the same for less

Not sure this needed a video. Both played it as you should. Cool to see though

I woulda shoved that turn w/ the st8 and flush draws out there and he'd river the ace.

Only one question for you- If that hand was reversed, and you had the aces , could you have laid them down? Would you? I don’t think my game will ever get to the point where I can lay down aces there . Probably why I will be a rec player forever .

Well played !

How can he fold aces as played though?

Faraz you beast!! He’s never folding those Aces…. If you were in his shoes could you possibly get away from that?
