#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana: On Former Keralam CM and LoP Pinarayi Vijayan's statement, Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao says, "Rahul Gandhi is saying that secular forces should be united because the BJP and RSS want to divide this country. That's why the INDIA bloc is against only to counter PM Narendra Modi, RSS and BJP. But after he (Pinarayi Vijayan) lost in Kerala as the chief minister, he is unnecessarily blaming and criticising Rahul Gandhi. It is not correct... I strongly condemn whatever statement he has made against Rahul Gandhi."

Anand Ranganathan weighs in on the Left-Liberal narrative on Indian Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar, whose actions during the FZ1073 cockpit emergency have been widely credited with helping save 174 passengers. Despite being seriously injured, Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door, allowing others to intervene and avert a disaster. Ranganathan argues that the captain has become an “inconvenient hero” for some critics because of his identity. “If he was not Smit… if he was Smith or Salim, everything would have been completely different,” he claims, accusing sections of the Indian commentariat of applying ideological double standards. This is Rahul Gandhi, a congress worker and Ex MP. An Indian truck driver offered him a truck ride from Washington DC to New York and he accepted it. During the journey, Truck driver explained that he was a BJP supporter but he left India because there are no jobs in India since 2014 and BJP is doing communal politics. Rahul listened to him patiently without being judgemental about his past affiliations with BJP. Rahul Gandhi has evolved a lot as a politician ❤️

#WATCH | BJP national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill says, "As per Rahul Gandhi, anybody who serves the nation is a traitor and anybody who falls on his feet is a loyalist. By calling Sardar Ravneet Singh Bittu a traitor, Rahul Gandhi has insulted the entire Sikh community, has once again displayed his anti-Sukh mindset, displayed his high-headedness, his crassness and once again proven that he is not fit to be an LoP. Rahul Gandhi should not forget that it is the Sikh community which has always been protecting and serving the nation, unlike him, who questions the Army, defames the nation, and is always eager to become a hero in Pakistani newspapers. Rahul Gandhi's conduct today in the Parliament is shameful, disgusting and unbecoming of a LoP."

VIDEO | On Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader Smriti Irani says, "In yet another attempt to defame the Election Commission of India and attack the BJP, Rahul Gandhi ends up exposing the sordid history of the Indian National Congress. Is it not true that in 1980, the then Congress government, misusing Article 356, dismissed nine state governments? Is it not true that during the UPA era, the Congress party, then in government, dissolved the Bihar Legislative Assembly? This step by the Congress party in 2005 was held to be illegal and unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of India. Why is it that Rahul Gandhi insists on attacking the Election Commission, which has been hailed the world over as a harbinger of not only democracy, but also as a commission that has used modern technology to ensure that every vote counts? Whose agenda is Rahul Gandhi fulfilling by continuing to attack the Election Commission of India?" (Source: Smriti Irani) (Full video available on PTI Videos -
