BIG: 12 Muslims linked to ISIS and Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) were arrested in a multi-state operation led by Andhra Pradesh Police. The module was involved in online radicalisation of Muslim youth through over 40 social media accounts, sharing jihadi content, and forming a Khawateen (women's) wing to include women. They maintained contact with foreign handlers in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria and Bangladesh. Raids were conducted in Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Telangana and Rajasthan. Three accused were arrested from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.
