3I/ATLAS SPOTTED ON SOLAR CORONAGRAPH! First spotted by amateur astronomer Worachate Boonplod (see top comment), I then analyzed the last 7 days of CCOR-1 footage and 3I/ATLAS is clearly observed (circled in red) at the edges of the coronagraph where the brightness of the solar wind is minimal. Close examination shows this object moving in a retrograde direction faster than the background stars and along the expected vector as 3I/ATLAS based on prior astronomical measurements. In prior videos I mentioned that it was a possibility that 3I/ATLAS would be visible on coronagraphs, but I didn't peg it at a high likelihood due to it's apparent magnitude being ~10. 3I/ATLAS SPOTTED ON SOLAR CORONAGRAPH! First spotted by amateur astronomer Worachate Boonplod (see top comment), I then analyzed the last 7 days of CCOR-1 footage and 3I/ATLAS is clearly observed (circled in red) at the edges of the coronagraph where the brightness of the solar wind is minimal.
