BIG | 🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️‼️ Vladimir Putin is still not preparing for meaningful compromise and appears to remain convinced that Russia can eventually force Ukraine to accept the Kremlin’s terms, despite the much slower reality of Russian advances on the battlefield. According to the Institute for the Study of War, the...

By the end of the year, Ukraine's advancing drone-kill zones can reverse the rate of invasion to become net eviction.

The only difference at the negotiating table is a united Europe. Isn't it incredibly sad that we cannot—or dare not—make that a reality...?

The Kremlin’s slow advances can create a dangerous illusion of leverage: incremental gains are not the same as a sustainable breakthrough. That gap is exactly where continued Ukrainian fires, air defense and Western resupply can shape negotiations.

Bro, “2032” isn’t a battlefield fact—it’s a projection based on a rate of advance that can change tomorrow. 😂 And apparently Putin is both “misled by commanders” and somehow executing a master plan at the same time. Pick a story. 🤡🇷🇺🇺🇦

❗️🇷🇺Russia’s rhetoric about striking the Baltic states is intensifying: ➡️🇱🇻🇺🇦 Today, the Kremlin threatened Latvia with an attack, claiming that “Ukrainian special forces are in Latvia and will launch strikes against Russia from there.” 🟥 Key alarming statements from the Russian Federation: ▪️ “The Ukrainian authorities have convinced Riga to allow operations against Russia.” ▪️ “Military personnel from Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces and drone operators have already been sent to Latvia. They are deployed at Latvian military bases: Ādaži, Sēlija, Liepāja, Daugavpils, and Jēkabpils.” ▪️ “Ukraine does not plan to limit itself only to using the air corridors that the Baltic states have provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Drone launches are planned directly from the territory of these states.” ▪️ “The coordinates of Latvia’s decision-making centers are known, and the country’s NATO membership will not protect the accomplices of terrorists from justified retaliation,” — according to a statement by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR). 🔷 The Russians also claimed that Latvia, together with Ukraine, is coordinating drone strikes on Russian territory — although there is no evidence to support this. 🔷 All of the above is fabricated evidence from Russia’s SVR. It is difficult for adequate politicians and ordinary people to understand the logic, but for the Russians, it serves as a pretext — criminal and false, but still a pretext. Exactly like the thousands of other “pretexts” the bunker resident used to justify the attack on Ukraine. ❗️❗️❗️ P.S. In Russian military propaganda circles, they believe that an invasion by the Russian Armed Forces into the border regions of Estonia and Latvia and conducting combat operations there would be 10 times easier to achieve field goals than fighting the Ukrainian army for Avdiivka, Pokrovsk, or Bakhmut… However, they only talk about the “simplicity” of these battles in the scenario where Western European countries retreat under Moscow’s nuclear blackmail and do not engage their combat aviation or naval forces. 📢 Russian military propagandists deeply believe that they will suffer an inevitable defeat in the current situation on the front with the Ukrainian army (because Ukrainian drone technology and combat innovations, combined with catastrophic monthly losses in manpower and equipment, are destroying their combat ambitions and chances of success). Therefore, they see turning the situation around by attacking NATO’s eastern flank, seizing certain territories in the Baltics, and hoping that Article 5 of collective defense will not be activated, as a way for Putin and his armed forces to restore their damaged image of strength in the eyes of their own population.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ The center of gravity of the ground war has increasingly shifted toward the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk axis. Since roughly October 2023, Russian forces have held the broader battlefield initiative in Donbas, advancing slowly but persistently. Today, the heaviest pressure is around Kostiantynivka and its surrounding fortified areas, which form one of Ukraine’s last major defensive belts from the south and southeast before the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, effectively the final major Ukrainian stronghold in Donetsk Oblast. Moscow has concentrated substantial assault and maneuver formations on this axis in an effort to break through Ukrainian defenses and open the road toward Kramatorsk. The offensive is costing Russia heavily, particularly because Ukrainian positions are saturated with FPV drones, but the political and military value of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk is high enough for Moscow to tolerate extraordinary losses. Russia is simultaneously attempting to approach the agglomeration from the north through the Lyman axis, where Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps under Andriy Biletsky has been containing Russian pressure. Elsewhere, the frontline remains comparatively static: Ukraine has recovered some contested “gray zones” where Russian troop density is lower, while both sides continue limited infiltrations and localized actions without producing major operational changes. This makes the battle for Sloviansk-Kramatorsk much larger than a fight over another piece of territory. Capturing the remaining Ukrainian-held core of Donetsk Oblast would give Putin something he could present domestically as fulfillment of a central objective of his so-called “special military operation,” potentially strengthening Moscow’s position before negotiations. Ukraine therefore has every incentive not only to hold the agglomeration, but to make Russia pay the maximum possible price for attempting to take it. If Russian assault formations are severely depleted here without achieving an operational breakthrough, Moscow could eventually lose the offensive initiative it has held for years. At the same time, there are currently neither sufficient Ukrainian manpower and military-technical resources nor visible battlefield preparations for a major operational-level Ukrainian counteroffensive, making attrition and defense the more realistic immediate strategy.
