I didn't hate the Gatwa era as much as many people, I'm even okay with be-regeneration, but yeah, there was some bullshit in the treatment of themes and characters. Remember when the first Ruby Sunday episode promissed an arc about the Doctor finding a familly ?

For me, my frustrations with the Disney Era is that they had a lot of great concepts but rarely ever stuck the landing. Ncuti himself was a brilliant Doctor, and I think he deserved so much more than being the lead in an all hype no substance legacy sequel with muddled politics
