Biggest intro downgrade i have ever seen

Apparently it was made by a random employee in like 1 day so thats kinda impressive ig

As much as I wanna dislike this intro, Apparently this was done by 1 or 2 ppl in 1 Day which is kinda impressive if you ask me. So I won't hate.

This would be amazing if it was the intro for a flash game in the early 2000s

Given that this intro was made about a decade before AI started being a thing(i think) i'll say this: it could have been a LOT worse.

Like, I understand the film negative for this intro was lost, but I still don't get why they went to trouble of reanimating the whole thing instead of just upscale the standard definition master when that would've taken less effort and yielded better results.

To me, it's still not as good as the second one regardless of how you dress it up. (But yeah you're right this re-animation is gross)

I'll forever be pissed that the Garfield & Friends remasters are in widescreen and we'll probably never see them in their original 4:3 aspect ratio

It more annoys me they couldn't even scan the cels. The animation for the original into looks so much better than this.

Company that remastered the series couldn’t track down the high-quality film negatives for the original intro so they had to commission a new intro. They didn’t have much money, so this had to be slapped together by a team of like two people in a matter of days.
