Insane that it is still doing this while I am posting this tweet

Looks like this hit a nerve. Nothing to promote; just waiting for it to get fixed. I will also try the different terminal options that folks recommended!

Just turn off the verbose mode in the Claude Code settings — that should fix it.”

Let me try later; thanks!

Its a vscode terminal issue, drove me mad. I use it from Warp now

On the bottom it says Cursor Tab but everyone mentions it as VS Code 🤣

shifting pane to right reduced this for me!

I didn't think this was a bug. I thought Claude was so fast. But then I realized it was actually a refreshing bug, and it keeps giving the same output.

Try lookin at that for 10hrs a day.

Light mode triggers me every time

Every... day... I don´t understand why they can´t fix it. I use warp and it happens there as well... @claudeai

same with factory droid

Is it? Damn cc @bentossell

No this "5-hour limit reached · resets 6pm (Europe/Istanbul) · /upgrade to Max 20x or turn on /extra-usage"

are we not gonna talk about being in white mode ?

Recently this jitter has been fixed for me on Ubuntu's default terminal app.

Goodness, it turned your theme to light mode!?

I usually run 3 terminals in parallel and have tool calls and errors color coded for monitoring. I'm one more terminal from epilepsy.

Doesn’t have this problem if you use the vs code plugin, only happens in terminal I’m guessing it’s a terminal limitation

I try to use OpenCode but got a bug with the model not working, need to test it again today

WezTerm handles it well, can highly recommend trying it instead. I've completely moved out of VSC embedded terminal for a month already because of that specific annoying experience each time you work with Claude Code.

does it only happen to you when you paste a lot of text? it did for me. I ended up pasting lengthy text into a text/md file and referencing it and it hasn't happened since.

How big of a difference is sonnet vs opus in terms of productivity? Noticeable difference? I just realized I’ve been on sonnet never switched to opus

My biggest productivity has been this:

crazy. ok thank you. I'll try it out.

I was so excited about Opus 4.5. Had it create a chat SDK. Achieved 80% in 1 hour. Six hours later, I was still debugging the new tool approach and investigating streaming bugs 😭. Switched to Gemini Pro 3. It fixed it in 45 minutes

😆

@claudeai @AnthropicAI please look into this issue.

This is not quite as severe when used from within Emacs, but it would be great if it didn't auto-scroll. I like to follow the thinking traces, even if not entirely line-by-line, and auto-scroll makes it a bit painful. But yes, not ideal.

Yep; love reading through the thinking part

We’ll have to wait for Opus 5 to solve this problem.

it has gotten somewhat better than before.

@grok any workaround to fix this? It’s happening while using almost all code editor terminals after hitting over 75% of the total context limit and happening especially while ai agent modifying multiple files in the same time.

Droid CLI + VibeProxy! :)

One day Claude Code will fix it ;p

Skill issue

same thing here, when multiple sub-agents are called

Every single harness does this.

haha u send a message when it thinking, i changed to use vscode extension instead no such issue anymore
