@BillAckman Bills a soulless panican at heart

@BillAckman 🤔

@BillAckman Ackman is falling over himself to not talk about how much Trump has fucked the economy. What a shell of a person, the dude used to have a point of view.

@BillAckman The short term pain gives the Democrats fodder for whining on media and keeping their base stirred up. We need the economy running smoothly before the midterm elections.

@BillAckman 💯 And I think this is all the more reason why I don't think this will continue for a "long time". Need to solidify a win in the midterms.

@BillAckman The converse of this is that other countries know the US is in a far weaker position if it drags on, and other countries are known to have a higher tolerance of economic pain. Ackman begged for a trade war ceasefire because he's a little bitch screaming about nuclear winter.

@BillAckman Any short-term shock is temporary and its effect is ignorable in long term; smoothing it sends a confusing signal and is counterproductive. The demand for smoothing often comes from those caught off guard by ignoring unsustainable past trends, leading to inevitable corrections.

@BillAckman I'm still very optimistic about how this will play out. While the delivery of the tariffs may be shock and awe - I have to have faith there is an underlying strategy here with many chess pieces being moved around.

@BillAckman I watched earlier. Take the time to listen with an open mind. Will be a great and valuable use of your time.
