I think people that are scared of beavers are the people that like to manage the land completely as if it's a garden. Farmers and people that breed birds for game shooting and all that kind of stuff. I mean, for them, the land is only natural when it's what they've set it out to be, to look like and to have in it. Beavers are wild creatures, they do their own thing but they’re superb for flood water management, an issue that we have to deal with, as the climate crisis continues to bite - they are also fantastic for habitat creation. An issue we have to deal with because we've lost so much of our wildlife.

This is a luhya folk song, growing up our moms would sing it to us as she went on with her duties and it would soothe us so much. I’m grown now and I apply it to daily living and purpose. Tsimindi is a type of seed. Okhumitsa is to sow them or throw them to the ground so they can grow. So in essence planting seeds and we all know what planting seeds yield. But I went out to Lahaina yesterday to help and talked to OneMaidHub from a Native Hawaiian and they got insulin from a private sector. ‌ Obviously we are not getting any help from the government or anyone at all. So they were getting insulin boated in and it got turned away from FEMA on the shoreline. So they turned away that and then this, which that was one or two days ago because the hub literally told us that. They were like, we don't even know what's going on or why they're turning things away. Cause it's not like they're getting us stuff and then also found out that we need storage containers and FEMA turned away 60 of them just yesterday as well, or the day before.
