Democrats lowered test standards so fools could pass, removed college entry standards so fools could take out loans to pay them, and produced so many fools they had to invent DEI so their fools could get a job. Those fools are now judges, politicians, teachers and journalists.

Maher gets two things wrong - Republicans DON'T want to cancel democracy in order to get their way, and Democrats DON'T want to get back to the America that was.

Why subsidize universities that just employ failed radicals, preach division, advocate violence and help no one? Those campuses and funds would be FAR better utilitzed to provide housing for the homeless and as mental institutions for the drug addicted and mentally ill.

If you would have said 10 or so years ago that I would ever agree ideologically with Bill Maher I would have laughed... yet here we are. Also, I wouldn't have guessed that Maher would be a voice of reason for the left. It just shows how upside down things have become.

The opposite of the left is not right, it’s rational. There are a lot of examples of the right that are also daft and unreasonable and I don’t tolerate those politics either. It’s a shame scientists are becoming unscientific. That ideologically is the sky falling.

One of the greatest points he makes in one that I almost missed is the statement about social contagion. Sometimes recognized as mass hysteria or mobbing. Like one suicide in a school often grown too many others. Or one girl getting pregnant in copycats

I disagree with a lot of Maher’s politits, but he is 100% right here. 🥳
