The Song of the Lark is an 1884 oil on canvas painting by French naturalist artist Jules Breton.

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, by Elton John. That song did for me what that painting did for Bill Murray. The best art is that which reminds us what it means to be alive, even if only for one more day.

Art speaks to the soul. (Art Institute of Chicago. Go visit if have the chance.)

@zee_parody And then he found out it was actually a sunset

I got my masters degree from the school of the art Institute of Chicago and I used to spend a lot of time between classes wandering the halls of the museum. I know this painting well. I also love it and spent lots of time in front of it what a wonderful story from one of my favorite actors.

It was this painting, actually...

Masterpiece.

Although he speaks like he's joking, for me it's sounds pretty profound and moving! Very good message and indeed a wonderful painting! May be another day, the sun is shining 🌞☀️for you, again!

This is pretty cool. I'm glad Bill Murray made the choice he did.

God’s mercies are new every morning🙏🏻 I love the hope of Breton’s “Song of the Lark”; This painting speaks promise to me every day❤️ God bless Bill Murray 🙏🏻

It feels like a sunset to me. Glad he saw the morning's Hope instead.

The laughs are weird af.

Saw this first think in the morning, then read my devotional and it said this: I focus on this one thing forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, Philippians 3:13. Wow! So glad he reset his focus! And also liked that God used it with my verse of the day 😀

So code speak says he was walking amongst the blacks

I think all true creativity comes from the shadow self, it is easy to get lost in there. I always thought the Babadook was the story of a woman regaining her self from her shadow and reestablishing the balance.

Watch the sun come up if you can. It seemed to work for @BillMurrayinu

The CIA (Chicago Art Institute) is awesome beyond belief. You can find something there to take you outside yourself.

It was that painting from Ghostbusters with the forehead dude.

Conversely, if you just lost your job and can’t pay the bills, walk into a modern art exhibition and see how people are paid millions for creating pretentious piles of shit on canvas and calling it ‘art’.

The Sun/moon, Woman, Sickle/crescent ... not very subtle 😀 Anyway...

Love that guy. A National Treasure.

End of a bad day I go to bed early knowing and hoping for the new day to start.

Nevermind 🫣

Love this story.

Guy that says it was painted in 1984 is wrong… ”The Song of the Lark is an 1884 oil on canvas painting by French naturalist artist Jules Breton.”

I’m glad you saw that picture 🙏🙏🙏

@BradleyMartyn - keep drinking Jesus presence brother have a strong prayer praise and word meditation life, he’s the new wine 🍷

Bill Murray is a dreadful human.

Thanks Brother. Always a fan of BFM! Groundhog day... a lesson that each day on this earth... the same but different. New possibilities abound. If you take the time to learn and grow... what a large impact you can have on those around you... for Good. A lesson or 3 in discernment as well, if you study closely. With a student mindset. Thanks for sharing. Fond memories evoked. Best kind!

Don’t believ him

I am done with this whining, selfindulged over appreciated actor.
