Comedy genius. Factoid reported in bio info I read: Oliver Hardy had barely rehearsed this dance. When he arrived on set, he asked Stan Laurel what they were doing that day. Stan told him the number and seconds later they did it perfectly in one take (longer than shown here).

I'm not that old really but Laurel and Hardy are very funny. Lots of breaking the 4th wall, lots of "way homers." You get the joke on the way home.
