Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. He just kind of lit up, and I think I forgot to yell cut. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. I think at some point he probably looked at me like, you going to cut? And I'm like, “oh yeah, yeah, cut.” He was still in it. That's the thing with Denzel. He was so Alonso…I'm just watching him for a while because I didn't know what else he was going to do. It was just so magical. And then I think he looked up at me and I was like, “Okay, cut, cut.”

Former Liberal Shares Her Story About Learning The Truth About Donald Trump “Im not afraid to admit when I'm wrong. In fact, I'd rather know the truth, even if it means that I'm wrong. — I was completely wrong about Trump. The media played me. They played me really good. You see, I was a Bernie Sanders supporter. I loved Bernie. I had the t shirts and everything. Because I saw a politician who really cared about the people, and I was gonna vote for him until something odd happened. I had no idea why Trump was running for president. I just knew he got in Bernie Sanders way. He seemed like an egotistical guy who just wanted more power and clout. The news talked about how he played too much golf. I watched SNL a lot, and I constantly made fun of him showing clips of him kind of appearing to be a madman, and I bought it up. In fact, the mere mention of Trump triggered me pretty bad. But then March 2020 happened, and I needed answers because something was off. I needed to know who the good guys were and who the bad guys were and who I should trust. So I was watching online and every media source I could find, and I finally decided I would watch the White House briefings live and listen to Trump speak live So I could see for myself, was he a good guy or a bad guy? I saw him appear in his news briefings to just kind of keep it straightforward like a businessman, and then I watched the news afterwards completely spun it out of control. They made it seem like he was saying things that I know he didn't say. It was bizarre to see in real time. I was watching to see who was pushing fear mongering, and it definitely wasn't coming from him. In fact, he was trying to push positivity, moving forward, and holding a better vision for where we were headed, which I felt was very much leadership ish of him. I saw him being straightforward, giving us exact plans and what we should do and what we should expect, and then I saw other people pushing projections, like, 18 months out that made absolutely no sense with no facts behind it. So I saw that one side was playing fear games and Trump wasn't on that side. But the news was heavy on he wasn't a trustworthy person, so I needed answers because this was all chaos and it didn't make any sense. But March 2020, I talked to a friend and he said that Trump was in there for a reason, and that's when everything clicked. I felt so much better about what was going on because the worst wasn't happening, it was actually something really good. There was something really big happening, and it was a complete change in our world. But because I watched too much TV, I allowed that fear mongering to get to me, and I actually did not like Trump for several years until I finally stopped and had to look and see what was really going on and ask some really logical questions. Only then was I able to see the truth when I was able to take my emotions out of the way. So for those people triggered by the word Trump, I get it. I was triggered too, and I I was only able to see the truth when I looked at him logically without anybody else's voice in my ear. Take another look at him because you're missing it. You're missing being alive during one of the greatest times in world history because power is returning to the people in the form of new technology that will shift our world entirely, and Trump is helping us get to the other side. In fact, he says several times, I'm returning power to you. He's going up against some really bad people and that's why we saw the events of Saturday when they tried to get rid of him. There are few presidents that go against this level of darkness, and he will go down as the greatest president in American history because of what he's done for us. He never took money when he was a president, and he still wants to be president even after everything that happened. If you don't see the kind of person he is now, one day you will”

“Because I think a lot of people are familiar with you know, pop stars have these alter egos on stage and then they're also a little bit potentially different behind the scenes. Can you talk about what the difference is between those two personas?” ROSÉ: I think, you know, like I started off as, my whole career started as Blackpink and I feel like it was so much fun creating this character on stage because I'm just from like Australia, like in my bedroom, but like it was so much fun creating this like pop star, like character. It was so much fun. And then I think creating my first solo album, it was my discover of like, you know, who am I? And like when I was naming the album, I really thought a lot about it. There was like options like, you know, number one girl. And then a lot of people did like, what about Rosie? And at first I was like, it seems a bit like narcissistic. I'm not sure. And then it slowly grew on me. And then, you know, just the idea of it being Rosie because Rosé has been such a big part of my life. And that's what we present ourselves as Blackpink, Blackpink Rosé. And I felt like this was very opposite. And so I noticed that it was closer to kind of introducing a different version of me, like because it combined all the stories I would talk about with my friends and family. And they call me Rosie at home. And of course, the online name that the company had made for me from at the beginning of Blackpink, I remember when it happened was like the day before they released my picture, profile picture, they were like, Rosé. And like the name got announced.

NEW: Tech billionaire and lifelong Democrat Mark Pincus reveals his "Red Pill" moment, sparked by Mike Solana's Pirate Wires and the "very fine people" hoax, culminating in him voting for Donald Trump. "I started reading Pirate Wires and Mike Solana, and I thought he was a little crazy at first because he would write these articles, and one he wrote was about how the Ukrainian soldiers had swastikas on their helmets, and the NYT photographers would ask them to take the swastikas off for photos." "I said that can't be true, and then four months later, it was in the NYT buried in the middle of the paper, and I kept seeing stories like that that he would be early on. So, I started feeling more uncomfortable and queasy with what was going on with mainstream media." "Then, in May 2024, I read an article that talked about Trump's speech in Charlottesville, where he said there are good people on both sides, and the article said it was completely propaganda and didn't actually reflect what he said. That he denounced the Nazis a bunch of times in his speech, so then I went and watched that video, and that was my red pill moment." "I think it was for a lot of people because it wasn't just the media or politicians spinning it. That speech was one of the pillars of why you were supposed to hate Trump. Then you see Biden say that's why he had to run a second time, and Obama says it, and Biden brings it up again at the DNC." "They clearly know they are misrepresenting things, so for me, that was beyond uncomfortable. Now, I have to go back to first principles and look at the primary data, listen to only original speeches by people, and I just realized I couldn't trust the mainstream media." Zack Snyder on his dyslexia: "It was a challenge for me when I was, you know, young in school, and all I wanted to do was make movies because that was the thing that I got great pleasure from and reward from. I love books, and I'm an avid reader, but I just have a hard time because of the way that I perceive. "I've had a great sort of - one side of me anyways - was really satisfied by art and drawing and sculpture and sort of visual expression. And I think that that started to, you know, was the thing that kind of made me feel un-frustrated. And also the way the system was designed, sort of not to support me when I was in high school at that time. "It was very difficult, you know, there was a lot of, you know, just, difficulty. My English teacher in high school was worried about what my career would be, and I'm like. He would be happy to know that I'm in the Writers Guild of America now. "But, I think that that all those things are, they're all... you can transcend all those things with perseverance and with interest and with with help. And I think that that's an important part of it. "And I just think I've had to adapt, and sort of... I have my own style of the way I write, I write all, you know, but I'm pretty prolific. And I love- I listen to tons of audio books on tape, unabridged hours and hours and hours. That's all I do when I'm driving in the car or wherever I'm doing. And it's helped me a lot. "And yeah, I mean, I just hope that anyone who is- feels trapped or frustrated by the world in general. You know, they need to just, I think that we all have like a magic spark, and you need to just find the thing that makes you, you know, inspires you and, and gets you excited and pursue it as hard as you can find your passion in the world. That's a, that's a great motivator."
