Never did I imagine that we would witness such a day of such death and destruction of Jews in our lifetime. And never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying, and cheering on a massacre of Jews. I know I'm not the only one in this room when I say that this was a wake-up call. Here's the thing. However much you try to avoid it before, even if speaking up wasn't really your thing, none of us can ignore the explosion of Jew-hatred around the world anymore. We will confront antisemitism, we will call it out but we will never let it not only defeat us, but define us, because our love is stronger than their hate. October 7th showed us that what happens to Jews anywhere affects Jews everywhere. And this goes both ways. Not only what happens there affects us here, but what happens here affects them there. The antisemitism that was festering under the surface for decades, has exploded. And for those of us who stand against it, we are not the popular kids. The so called “cool kids” are wearing a keffiyeh, calling for an intifada and demanding a Palestine between the river and the sea even if they can’t tell you which river or which sea. Keffiyeh Karens. That’s the mainstream now. Standing up against jihadism is now the counter-culture. WE are the counterculture. And we are doing it. The Jewish people have found our voice because standing up for what we believe in, even when it’s not popular, is part of who we are. They don't have to talk to each other, even. They know exactly what they want to do. They want to go out there, kill and make money. But the people in the Peace Industry, which are us - we are so idealistic that each one of us criticises the other Peace Person in the Peace Industry. And we are always just arguing and we are wasting our energies doing that. So let's just forgive each other and see that we are in the Peace Industry and that's all that counts. Even if you are not marching for peace, just be yourself, being a florist, being a merchant, being a talior, anything. That way you're contributing to the Peace Industry. People are just concentrating on fear, confusion and anger. And therefore just for a moment, I'd like us to think about Love. In a very magical, straight way, John and I met in London and from then on we stood for Peace and Love. And when I do this kind of event. Well it is... I was inspired to do it, but I still think that I'm still with John in spirit. John and I created the country called Nutopia. Not Utopia, because there was Utopia as a concept already. And we wanted to create a new concept, so we just added N on it - Nutopia - and as a country. Well, that is the concept of a country. And we all are citizens of that country. And in my apartment in the Dakota Building, we put a little plaque on the back door, the kitchen door. It says 'Nutopian Embassy' and even now we have that. (laughs). Nutopia exists in our minds. And because of that, some people want to rebel against it. The reason some want to rebel against it is a good proof that it exists. I think that it was a terrible thing that happened in Chechnya. Central City News is a Republican ran news paper in Baton Rouge and they are saying the quiet part out loud. They believe they can elect a white Republican as mayor because the Black voter turnout is so low. They are looking at the same data I shared last week. I’ve been telling you the numbers because the power is there for us to make the difference. I believe you seeing this is important. It shows you the thinking of people who are voting Republican in this community think about you not voting. They see it as an opportunity. If voting didn’t matter, why are they breaking records to show up? The person in the mayors office determines what policing in your city looks like, they determine the budget priorities of the city, they set the agenda for where things are going. Everything we don’t have, is because we aren’t engaging at the numbers we need to. You can’t change a city, with only 30% of the majority population showing up to vote. Baton Rouge can be so much better, we have to show up for better to happen. Take the 5 minutes to listen and then take 10 more to text your people and encourage them to go vote tomorrow. We can prove them wrong. Louisiana is not a red state, it’s an under funded, low voter participation state. It always blows my mind when NATO sits there and says that they don’t need the United States but somehow need answers as to why we’re pulling our US soldiers out of these NATO countries. Out of their own mouths they’ve claimed that they don’t need us and the only reason why they don’t need us is because they don’t agree with the president that’s holding their feet to the fire. NATO failed the ultimate loyalty test so why are we going to continue to pay one-sided loyalty fees for people that will not show up for us when we ask them to. It’s not like we actually needed them because we’ve been handling this on our own without the support of NATO, but they’ve made it that much easier to prove that we don’t need them to fight our own battles and they clearly need us to fight theirs. Maybe if you weren’t an IRGC sympathizer and opened up your country to a bunch of fucking terrorists you’d actually be able to have a back bone in a spine to stand up for your people but as we’ve seen in Great Britain, should you offend someone on the Internet you throw them in jail, but not these motherfuckers that are raping your children, and women in the streets. So I think it’s about time you guys start fighting your own battles and funding your own NATO budget or if you want us to be a part of NATO we pay what the average is for the rest of your countries instead of 5% GDP.
