Jay Clayton will be the new Director of National Intelligence starting tomorrow, replacing acting DNI Bill Pulte. During a CNBC interview in 2024, Clayton mentioned he was bothered by the GameStop $GME situation and described it as closer to gambling than investing. "It is not insider trading - that's clear. And he (DFV) is trading on his own information, that is why it's not insider trading. But is this something that we should be tolerating in our markets? Whether it is legal or illegal? I don’t think so." We'll see what happens.

A lot of people have asked me whether FOMO can ever really be overcome. The problem with FOMO isn’t just that it can lead to one bad trade. It can become the starting point of a whole chain of mistakes. Even after more than 16 years of trading, I still feel FOMO sometimes. The difference is that I’ve learned to become much more aware of it — and to manage it before it takes over. The real turning point often starts with understanding what’s actually happening underneath the feeling. Why do you feel FOMO in the first place? Does FOMO really help you become a better trader? Once you realize that FOMO isn’t something you need to act on, you can start looking at it differently. Instead of being pulled around by the emotion, you gradually learn to take control of it. That was one of the most important shifts in my journey from a beginner to a professional trader.
