Moon Taeil dan 2 pelaku lain ditetapkan sebagai tersangka oleh Kantor Kejaksaan Seoul atas dugaan pemerkosaan. Para pelaku didakwa atas dugaan melakukan penyerangan seksual/sexual assault terhadap seorang perempuan yang sedang dalam pengaruh (alkohol) pada Juni 2024. Para pelaku (termasuk Taeil) bersaksi bahwa kejadian ini bukanlah sesuatu yang mereka rencanakan. 2 Pelaku sudah hadir di kejaksaan untuk mengikuti penyidikan. Namun Taeil tidak dapat ikut karena alasan kesehatan. Diketahui Taeil mengirim surat sakit yang diwakili oleh kuasa hukumnya.
