Restoring degraded forests is one of the most powerful actions to protect biodiversity and combat climate change. In Tamil Nadu, we have successfully restored around 100 hectares of degraded forest land in the Palayam Pudhur beat of Dharmapuri Forest Range by planting over 10,000 native tree species under the Green TN Mission through the ongoing NABARD scheme. This initiative not only rejuvenates a once degraded ecosystem but also teaches us to invest in restoration to revive biodiversity and build climate resilience #TNGreenMission NABARD Online #TNForest UN Environment Programme UN Biodiversity #biodiversity #forestrestoration
