Japan is really in trouble. Despite Japan's population of nearly 125 million, last year only 727, 277 births were recorded. The fertility rate, which means the total number of births a woman has in her lifetime, dropped from 1.26 to 1.20. That’s already below the rate needed for a population to remain stable, which is a 2.1 rate.

Strictly speaking, it mainly affects the countries of the western world. Third world countries currently still have a very high birth rate. Ultimately, the birth rate falls in line with education, the healthcare system and prosperity. You could also say that if a population is doing too well, it becomes preoccupied with unimportant things such as gender, wokeness, etc. However, the really important things that actually advance a population are forgotten. By then at the latest, decline is inevitable. This can also be seen in previous advanced civilizations, such as the Sumerians, Egyptians or Romans. Interestingly, despite these examples, humanity has learned nothing and is once again heading in the same direction. It is therefore important that we finally move in the right direction, only then will it be possible for earthlings to finally make progress on the Kardashian scale.
