So the individual admitted to running a DOS attack on knots nodes. Something that can be prosecuted through CFAA regulations for criminal and civil cases. If I were MARA I would panic if they used company resources. I would donate to the group that brings up charges.

Thanks for bringing attention to this Matt. The only thing these slimy fucks are succeeding in is their own exposure and ultimate demise. It's so transparent who is acting in complete bad faith. It will be great to see them fade to absolute irrelevance.

One good outcome of this, is being able to start making mental lists on these controversies around who are the trustable folks in Bitcoin, and who aren't.

I will say it was recorded while I was in the space and I didn’t join anonymously- I’m just a pleb that was overlooked but the dude couldn’t help himself but clout chase and be noticed. 🤣

You’re calling me a bad actor because I was randomly in a space on a Friday afternoon? Come on! I run both a Knots node and a bitcoin core node. The part that got cutoff before this was how shitty isp are for having data limits and how excited I am that I now have fiber.

Please make a video for laymen showing how to limit max upload target in knots

More and more people will run Knots, and good Bitcoiners will come forward. In the end Bitcoin will win.

@1914ad Thanks for reporting this! Keep it up @mattkratter What started as a confusing issue is exposing the malicious intent of core! 🖕Mara!

Its trivial to set maxuploadtarget= to whatever you can live with in bitcoin.conf for linux. ISPs do offer unlimited bandwidth, but it may be at a higher cost. That guy and his company Mara are obviously malicious. Bring it on, Knots node runners cannot be stopped.

💥🔥 Also I can't stop laughing at the middle finger around first 15 sec or so.

Portland is CIA. MARA is CIA. The laughing assholes are CIA. The CIA don't just supply the world with heroin, coke, MDMA and kill popstars. They also attack nodes.

@grok can you summarise what happened here and why Mara could be involved?

I think I saw a video where Andreas M. Antonopoulos talks about censorship of blocks. And how if you pay the fee that the miners will put your transaction in the block as long as it follows the protocol? Does Knots censor blocks based on spam? This seems like censorship? Please educate me. Thanks.

I run some BMM 101 miners to support the bitcoin network but its not a full node so... how do I support Knots vs Core? Is there a device I can buy or do I have to build from scratch? How do miners integrate with the full nodes can you do an education session on that?

That’s quite disconcerting Matthew as I run a Bitcoin Knots node and use Comcast as my ISP 🥴

Is there any legal avenues available as a response to being Electronically attacked in such a way?
