Four months after giving up the Opentensor CEO title in a "Satoshi moment," Bittensor's Const (const) is openly stating the obvious: core direction still runs through him. In a new essay he says the AI network is not decentralized where it counts, and that's deliberate. His case is that AI moves too fast to govern by committee, so he and a small group steer it now and decentralize later, a finish line he puts at roughly 18 months, gated behind validator, liquidity, and emissions upgrades.
