👉 Over the last 12 years of BJP rule, we have witnessed the devastating reality of a government waging a war against tribal communities, in the name of so-called development. 👉 When tribals protest peacefully, the BJP government uses the police and the administration to silence their voices. The BJP has chosen to stand with its corporate friends over the constitutional rights of tribal communities. 👉 Section 3 of the Forest Rights Act grants tribals the right to manage community forest resources. Yet, land acquisition continues, and they are being displaced without proper resettlement or rehabilitation. 👉 Section 4(5) of the Forest Rights Act clearly states that premature eviction of the tribals without settling their rights under the Forest Rights Act should not happen. Despite this, the BJP government is evicting tribal communities without settling their rights. 👉 Section 5 of the Forest Rights Act empowers tribal communities to protect and manage forests, ensure their sustainable use, and prevent activities that could damage them. Yet, in the name of mining operations, forests are being destroyed, while the objections and peaceful protests of tribal communities are being completely ignored. : AICC In-charge (Jharkhand) & National Coordinator (SC, OBC, Minority & Adivasi Departments) K Raju ji 📍 Delhi
