“I’m with Didi” - Dev’s message to the media yesterday. Why has Dr. KakoliGDastidar still not released the alleged letter of support to the NDA, purportedly signed by 20 All India Trinamool Congress MPs & submitted to Lok Sabha Speaker? I challenge her to make that letter public! If such a letter exists, why hide it? Every MP knows that the Xth Schedule does not permit a separate breakaway bloc. The only protection available is if at least 2/3rds of a party’s MPs merge with another party. That means these MPs would first have to defect to BJP West Bengal & the BJP would have to accept these opportunist, corrupt, greedy politicians. Otherwise, they will be disqualified & would have to seek a fresh mandate.

BJP’s VP candidate is an RSS man — he has been the BJP President of Tamil Nadu in the past and is a believer in Manusmriti. He will be fully devoted to the BJP and will not act in an impartial manner. We have already seen how former VP Jagdeep Dhankhar suspended opposition MPs and passed several bills without any discussion. Our candidate, B. Sudarshan Reddy Ji, is a man who believes in the Constitution. If elected, he will remain impartial and respect the dignity of the Chair. We do not decide keeping elections in mind; we choose the person who is truly fit to hold a constitutional post.
