Delhi: On the stone-pelting at police during a demolition drive near an Old Delhi mosque, Constable Vikram says, "Yesterday evening, from around 11:30 PM, I was on duty with the SHO at Turkman Gate. There was a large crowd near the Hajj Manzil. The SHO tried to reason with them, but they did not listen. After that, the stone-throwing began. The crowd was very large, and the stone-pelting started after 12:30 AM. I overheard someone saying, ‘Your blood has gone cold..."
