What the educational system teaches about black history is we were slaves and then the civil rights movement. In the abstract no doubt like Rosa Parks was tired and MLK had a dream. What’s even more disrespectful is lumping immigrant’s plight into our unique history on this soil.

Teachers unions and the so-called left have nothing to do with not teaching black history. Blame the racist politicians and racist white evangelicals who want to hold onto power at all costs. They should teach that as well instead of trying to gaslight us.

Try to find any of the people that he mentioned in your kids history book. Your state approves and purchases the books that teachers are given. Your state also sets the curriculum that will be tested on. What does the teachers union have to do with any of that?
