I’m so honored to be from our lineage. The resilience is astounding. I stay emotional about their plight. I’m going toe to toe with family members allowing their own egos to dictate how our family history is being recorded.

Thank you for loving yourselves so much that you gave us by never giving up!!

I wonder what street this is now. This looks similar to a house my aunt lives on now

💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️🇺🇲

My great-grandfather was born in Mobile in the 40s. He moved the family to KY and it's been history ever since.

This looks like Gordon Parks 📸. 🤌🏽🥰

Born in Mobile in 1957. With tree roots visible the area appears to be near the water. I don’t remember not having paved streets. Maybe Pritchard area.

My great grandparents were from mobile. There’s a/ was church there that my great grandfather helped build 😭

They were well dressed and civilized what happened?

Somebody who maybe in their 30s or 40s, momma or dad is one of those little kids in the picture. Beautiful. 🥰❤️
