Unpopular opinion: As a musician, I’d argue what the whites did was more harmonically impressive also… They didn’t have a piano. The black version was closer to the original though since they didn’t attempt to reharm it. They both did great. F-ck color. Music is universal.

The difference between the clips are to me, the high schoolers are singing the lyrics and some background while the adults are doing the song, background and some instrumentals included. Tones and textures that the other students aren’t matching. They’ll get there though!
