@ruha9 Agree. Black faces in high places only serve as human shields for systemic racism.

@ruha9 This was an amazing speech and I love that she called out Linda Thomas-Greenfield. Watching that woman raise her hand to vote down every UN resolution to hold Israel accountable and stop the genocide made me sick to my stomach.

@ruha9 ‘Nuff said!

@ruha9 Physical representation in oppressive systems hasn’t led to representation of ideas / solutions to address past and present injustice but rather putting it on steroids. Linda Thomas has shown the reality.

@ruha9 Exactly 💯! @latstetter @CapaTosta122 @NancyHWeaver1 @Hedgesgurl @OmmMuffy @gerber_desiree @DrLearnALot @MY_MUSLIM @LadyReverbs @gaijingirl2004 @TimOnTheTractor @katalin_pota @ASterling @john_brumjo @katalin_pota @_bilaire @PookieJane3429 @ACleverNickname @TalbertSwan

@ruha9 Screams the need for representation. Gets representation. Now representation is not the solution.

@ruha9 Why is a black woman talking about Gaza when black communities have been decimated for decades? Maybe she should worry about her won home before worrying about other communities globally.

@ruha9 Powerful insight !

@ruha9 70%of black families are 1 parent. I rest my case.

@ruha9 Why do we always got to include everybody else when we are talking about our suffering? Others never mention Black people unless they need something from us.
