BLACK MEN WORKING THEMSELVES TO DEATH . Thoughts 💭 ⁉️

Some black men can't see themselves past work. Especially with the boomer generation. They were born working. So he's mainly speaking about that generation and early years generation X. Its activity happening right now.

My pops works hisself to death as well. Im going to retire him within the next 3 years.🤞🏾@phxlly3 @YoExFavoriteN__ @eihtbeezy

It took me, getting sick for like 2 years for me to learn to slow down and to realize I don't have to prove my value to anybody. Still struggle with John Henryism, but I'm a work-in-progress just like everybody else.🙏🏿

I had a friend who worked himself to death. I tried to get him to come over to Engineering but, he was raking it in doing overtime as a tech. I knew he had health problems. Not too long after his girlfriend found him face down at home. Had a heart attack.
