souls are known for 19 enemies on screen and kaiju morphing lmao

I'm talking about the boss fight, that's why people play these games, not because of regular mobs :) And it feels like souls game, the mood, the art direction, animations, dodge and roll, all feels like a souls game.

Ok but Jedi was VERY Souls-like imo. Especially when it came to bosses & mini bosses. It was only the traversal / weaker enemies inbetween those bosses that made it different.

@ymnis_v1 Not really. I’m the type that plays games on easy & yet I’ve enjoyed souls games (apart from DS2 as haven’t played that yet) I tried the first jedi game but didn’t get into it as I not a Star Wars fan but even if I was I think the bugs etc would’ve put me off after a while.

@ymnis_v1 I haven’t tried Nioh or Sekiro yet as I do find them intimidating. Souls games just take patience / time if anything. Ppl say Returnal is harder & yet I rolled creds but I played it solid for 6months & it took me 400+hrs. Maybe I’m just a glutton for punishment?🤣

More enemies means it’s gonna be harder like what are we doing here. Just cause you got abilities that make early game enemies easy doesn’t make it any less a souls with all the dodging and parrying being done in the game

yeah, that looked like it wasn’t parry focused so you can actually perform action game crowd control. plus morphing into a kaiju stood out.

Wouldn’t make any sense if it were a Souls game. Sun Wu Kong is basically the most powerful god of almost all mythology.

…….whoa. Not what I was expecting. Kinda reminds me of old school ps2 fighting games. I was never really into those. However to each their own. Hope people enjoy it.

I actually miss action RPG games before Dark Souls. Where you learn moves and build skills leading up to the more challenging boss battles through groups of lesser enemies. Souls games made most enemy encounters feel like a mini boss battle.
