Gucci doesn’t need advertising. The brand has already solidified itself as a luxury staple. If it was a big enough rapper then that was a even exchange for the advertisement

Arrogance will limit you.

If you just get your label on someone with a huge following you're getting tremendous marketing value for free yourself. The only point this guy is making is that he doesn't understand the value of celebrity endorsements. They get paid to wear brands. Idiot .

On the flipside that free advertising that the artist is providing which in turn brings more customers. Just another way to look at it

He’s right but lost me at the end. Those big brands give merch to celebrities all the time. Been that way since the 60’s.

Until you actually open a business, or create something you wont understand this. I thought I did. The disdain Black folks have for other Black folks’ success was shocking to me.

But Gucci does give stuff to rappers just like Tommy, polo, crystal, more etc have done in the past. If you can get free marketing while you brand comes up they u should have sent it. Niggas are so dumb and that’s why their businesses fail. How tf you think Fubu blew up

Naw my boi it’s called advertising and this is the reason no one no who you are you should always be willing to giving something away remember honey=flys duh

I hear what he saying I understand it BUT I rapper wearing ya shit or just a famous person period that’s free marketing and advertisement that’s two things that cost and your getting it for free It’s a fair trade

Dudes an idiot. WHY wouldn’t you send merch to celebrities so they can wear your stuff and get it out there? Thats advertising for penny’s on the dollar.
