Blackburn Rovers have won as many games under Michael O’Neill (6) as they did under Valerien Ismael this season. 14 games vs 30. That’s why they’ll be a Championship club next year. #Rovers🌹

@blackburnrovers Just imagine if we somehow manage to convince O’Neill to stay an he has a completely fit squad to play with, as well as bringing in his own signings. Best boss we’ve had since Mowbray

He’s done an incredible job considering the absolute dogs dinner he was left by Ismeal and the squad he inherited thanks to RG. Get rid of the dead wood and bring lads in that know the league.

@dtlishy Best decision of the season was appointing MON, wish it had been made sooner.

The fact that Ismael wasn’t sacked sooner blows my mind. He was absolute p***.

The question is, will he stay after seeing the inner workings of the club firsthand ?

Genuinely with him in charge we're only 3 players (and keeping Toth) away from challenging play offs next year

The ACC just had an excellent season, with its premier program Clemson not contributing, but apparently they’re “secret garbage.” • National Championship appearance • Miami by themselves won as many CFP games as the entire 5-bid SEC. • Winning record vs. the SEC (for the second time in the last three years. Five consecutive wins over the SEC to end last season). • Virginia just won 11 games. • SMU is 20-7 in two years at the Power 4 level. • Georgia Tech had their best season since 2016. • Duke won 9 games for the third time in the last four years. • Louisville won 9+ games for a third consecutive season. • 9-4 Wake Forest just had their best season since 2021 in their first year under Jake Dickert. • FSU, in the midst of a 2-6 year in ACC play, smoked Alabama. Dabo Swinney and Clemson had a bad year for the first time since 2010 and weren’t in the mix at all, and the ACC was still extremely competitive. And the narrative is somehow that they are an “afterthought of a conference.”
