Funny we do this with the 12 year olds I coach too! Maybe work on some team defense stuff.. this is useless for guys at this level

Tough watch. This teams needs to practice shorthanded o zone possession. 4 on 5. If they can keep the puck in the zone this way, it’ll open up the ice in real games 5 on 5.

Small ice drills are great but, you still have more than half the guys standing there and watching. You could run this same stuff on both halves of the ice with everyone working. Cheering each other over a goal on drill is just goofy. Nobody is pissed off!

This is Beer league type stuff, let’s take the most unstructured looking team and give them a pee wee drill that has zero structure.

Del Mastro and Rinzel should not be paired together! Del Mastro needs to toughen up and start clearing people out from in front of the net. Rinzel has more turnovers than the Pillsbury Doughboy, send him back to Rockford. Are we supposed to believe that Rinzel outplays Korchinski
