Blazers guard Ja Morant said his “bad guy” image is a misconception: “I’ve done what I’ve done in the past, but it’s been addressed and handled already. I don’t see why years later that’s still the topic when nothing’s happened since.”

Honestly, great answer because he leads with taking accountability. He’s just got to live it because wasn’t he just barking at a player to fight? Hopefully being traded humbled him.

I think the shit is weird mf pick and choose, mfs has done 10x worse shit and it get swept under the rug

Love the team issues blazers polo throw over pre interview hahahaha this guy is the best

I mean only thing relevant is his lack of good shooting and injuries. Those are fixable things and I hope Blazers bring the best out of him.

Me either @JaMorant!! It should be a non issue at this point. My son and I are going to miss you playing for Grizzlies. He will continue to wear your shoes. I just communicated to him about your past actions and its what you do after. We love ya!!!

Give him a shot Portland.

@Phil_Lewis_ They’re trying to force him out the league because “analytics” doesn’t like him plus the “image” issues. But he’s still immensely popular especially with the youth and he sells thousands of shoes a year.

@Phil_Lewis_ Him being on a team called the “Blazers” is the simulation just having fun with us at this point

@Phil_Lewis_ Because the only persons that get second or even third chances in this country are white .
I was a huge Ja fan. I'm from TN & I hoped that he could have learned his lesson before it got to this point. I think now he'll be an NBA nomad, more than likely finish playing w/double digit teams. Good players like Durant & Harden prove that good players can be passed around.

Brother rolled outta bed and threw a Blazers polo on and headed to work 💀

Yo ja rlly looking like tee ngl

the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior lol

Only way to do that is to be healthy and hoop while showing you're active in the community

Fake tough guy.

He's so goated

I don’t think most fans in Memphis think he’s a bad guy either. He just rarely plays basketball because he’s always hurt.

Admits to his mistakes but the real reason they are still brought up is because he’s done nothing on the court since the issue to distract the media and fans from them…

Your play since hasn’t outshined the negativity Simple math

Hey Morant - try leaving the guns & thuggery in Memphis

It's his dad

young athlete's has growing pains and my years of being a fan of the NBA since the 70's Ive seen way worst like Arenas and Crittenton who brought guns to the locker room over a argument whereas now Crittenton is now serving 23 years for manslaughter Ja wasn't even at work.

Not a misconception but your past is what you created. Just do better and people will slowly forget

Good point.

Win a chip, kill the narrative

The media is lazy same questions about this gun bullshit you would think is shot or pistol whipped somebody he showed a gun in his car on his property

That is was reputation is.

@BenGolliver can I react to this ?

He has a lot to say about the situation but when you’re getting paid you gotta play the game.

@Phil_Lewis_ He stopped producing. That's it. He hurt a lot.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
