But unfortunately migrants have taken control of this area to live here but which is still under construction. The national gendarmerie intervened directly & succeeded in record time in evacuating around a hundred people for the safety of the population & will be judged as quickly as possible.

Israeli occupation forces murder municipal worker in overnight ground raid on Blida, south Lebanon —— Israeli soldiers raided the southern Lebanon town of Blida overnight on Thursday, killing a municipal employee during an operation that Tel Aviv later claimed targeted Hezbollah infrastructure. According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA), Israeli forces entered Blida around 1:30 am with several military vehicles and stormed the municipal building, where they shot and killed Ibrahim Salameh, a municipal employee who had been sleeping inside at the time. The troops withdrew at approximately 4 am. The Lebanese army entered the building afterward and recovered Salameh’s body, NNA reported. The Israeli army confirmed on Thursday morning that it carried out the operation in Blida overnight, claiming it was “part of an operation to destroy Hezbollah infrastructure.” During the raid, the military said its forces “identified a suspect in a building” and opened fire after “an immediate threat” was detected. Israeli officials alleged that Hezbollah had used the municipal building for “terror activity under the guise of civilian infrastructure,” calling it “another example of a pattern of behavior that endangers the residents of Lebanon.” An Israeli military source said that Lebanese army troops arrived at the scene after the withdrawal and said there was no confrontation between the two sides.

Several stores have begun holding clearance sales as business owners search for new locations. Vendors tell WJZ they were recently informed of the closure and are now scrambling to plan their next move. Opened in 1956, Eastpoint Mall is considered one of Baltimore's first shopping centers.
