Jaipur, Rajasthan 👉🏾 Asif Maqbool is asking Mithilesh Savita, the BLO of Ward Number 33, Raghunath Puri Jhotwara Jaipur, “why my name and my family's name have been removed from the voter list?” 👉🏾 The BLO did not give any answer at first, later said that “I will remove the name of those who do not come to take the form from me”. Whereas the BLO's duty is to go house to house and give forms. This is mass disenfranchisement, done systematically by ECI, to benefit BJP.

More than 30 BLOs have committed suicide due to the extreme mental stress of SIR work. This is the video of BLO Sarvesh Singh in which he was crying before taking his life. Election Commission of India and Gyanesh Kumar have not even acknowledged these deaths, let alone offered a word of condolence. But they are posting videos of BLOs dancing during break time to pretend that everything is fine and nobody is dying. This is an inhumane and shameless attitude from the ECI!

He is Sarvesh Singh, a BLO from Moradabad #UttarPradesh who died by suicide leaving behind a note and a video. When BLOs died in #Bengal, the propaganda ecosystem sneered, “SIR is happening everywhere - why are people only dying in Bengal?” Today, after the heartbreaking death of Sarvesh Singh - a father, a son, a BLO - the same ecosystem has slipped into a sudden, convenient silence. Sarvesh’s final plea, - “Mummy, I want to live… take care of my children” - is nothing short of devastating. A man crushed under an administrative burden he did not create, abandoned by a system that demanded work but offered no protection. So will the loudspeakers of fake outrage now ask why a BLO in a #BJP-ruled state died? Or does their concern for human life depend entirely on which party governs the state? And where is the #electioncommissionofindia in all this? ECI had been tweeting videos of BLO success stories, in a way insinuating that if they can do then others can and must, unless they are useless.
